Brightonwoods Orchard is an apple orchard specializing in heritage apples. The orchard features over 200 apple varieties, award winning c***r and other fall favorites including honey, jams and fruit spreads, squash, gourds and pumpkins. Due to the numerous apple varieties and older trees, Brightonwoods Orchard is NOT a pick your own. However, if you're looking for some time in the country, going for a walk in the orchard or woods, having a picnic or letting your kids enjoy the 2 story treehouse then you've found the right place. Brightonwoods Orchard is located on a beautiful Rustic Road in Burlington, Wisconsin. The orchard is about a 45 minute drive from Milwaukee and an hour and a half drive from Chicago. In addition to our wide assortment of antique apples, we have many wooded walking trails, a two story treehouse and an on-site winery, AEppelTreow Winery, specializing in artisan hard c***rs and sparking wines.

Marketeers have been deployed to all the regular markets: Tosa (Kysa), Brookfield (Allyn), South Shore (Ava and Eric), Racine (Raven and Alex), Kenosha (Lauren), Greenfield (Allyn 2), and Milaegers (Aly).

We were gifted a giant box of giant sweet potatoes. I’m going to sell them for $1 each. If you think that might be expensive, wait until you see these monsters. Not local- but organic.

If you've made it this far, I'd like to talk a bit about how this harvest has shaped up and some of the challenges we're dealing with. We're getting a fair number of 'why do the apples look like X this year?' questions in the Apple Store.

Folks - agriculture is hard. We are at the mercy of everything that falls from the sky or squirms up from the earth. In particular, we've had spring frost, summer hail, and fall rain. The apples show the marks from all of that, but in different ways. We've never striven to present 'Fancy' apples (that's a grade) - but Firsts, which allow little blemishes. This year, they are a bit less fancy-ish than other years. We're doing our best. Thank you for understanding.
