Brightonwoods Orchard is an apple orchard specializing in heritage apples. The orchard features over 200 apple varieties, award winning cider and other fall favorites including honey, jams and fruit spreads, squash, gourds and pumpkins. or a walk in the orchard or woods, having a picnic or letting your kids enjoy the 2 story treehouse then you've found the right place. Brightonwoods Orchard is located on a beautiful Rustic Road in Burlington, Wisconsin. The orchard is about a 45 minute drive from Milwaukee and an hour and a half drive from Chicago. In addition to our wide assortment of antique apples, we have many wooded walking trails, a two story treehouse and an on-site winery, AEppelTreow Winery, specializing in artisan hard ciders and sparking wines.

Folks, I'm afraid our winter market season will be cut short. The extended cold spell penetrated our main cooler and the apples froze. That does in their texture and shelf life. Sad that we missed it before it was too late - but there you are.

Folks, the winery Wassail is tentatively set for Jan 3, 2026. We sing to the trees at dusk, so let’s say 4:30. The winery will be open an hour beforehand.

We’ve gotten more sensitive to the cold over the years, so if it’s under 20F, ambient OR windchill, we’ll cancel. I’ll update both website and facebook.

Folks, we’re canceling our hours this weekend due to the -very- cold spell in the forecast. Sorry. That will leave one weekend left in our encore season.

We’re sad to let Santa escape - but we are finding it’s a struggle to keep the old barn habitable below 20F, and we’re looking at -5F to 5F depending on the model. Before the wind.

Wassailling on Jan 3 is tentatively on the plan. Also depends on the weather.

Reminder: Jollity is approaching. We have backup propane to keep the apple store bearable.
