Well my boy is sick!! He’s been at the farm and running deliveries with me today, I don’t have the heart to make him sit in the truck with me while I sell mushies at the stand. So we WILL NOT be down at the cook road/99 chevron with mushrooms today, hopefully Friday we will be able to be there. Thanks to everyone who came on late notice yesterday!!!!

Hey all! We have some extra mushrooms this week :) I’ll be down at the chevron at cook rd and 99 today until 4, tomorrow 1-4 and Friday 1-4! Hope some of you can make it!

Skagit Gourmet Mushrooms is hiring a Farm and Market worker!

We are a small family run farm operating in beautiful Skagit Valley. We continue to expand and have two positions available - part time to full time.

Job Description:
- Running at least one market per week - Saturday commitment a must
- Farm duties such as sterilization, inoculation, harvesting, cleaning etc.
- Running deliveries to wholesale contracts

Qualifications:
Manual labor, farm experience a plus, etc.
Physically capable of steady productive work, pushing large carts, etc
Reliable and professional
Customer service experience a plus
Friendly/outgoing and comfortable selling and answering basic questions at Markets (will train)
Clean Driving Record

Compensation:
16-20 per hour DOE
Room for growth
