Pssst… how would you like to soak in 5 day old bath water with 15 of your closest friends?
Your flowers don’t either.
Change the water in the vase frequently!
Keep out of direct sunlight!
Use a clean vase and clean water each time!
Toss stems as they fade.
Cut flowers won’t last forever. They are meant to be enjoyed in the moment. And they need clean water to be at their best.
If you wouldn’t drink it, they don’t want to either.

Last night we heard about a Fin Whale that was found dead in front of our friends’ house on Samish Island. We hopped in the car together as a family to go see the magnificent beast and pay homage. Fin whales are the second largest whale in the entire world and endangered. We laid lilac on its brow for remembrance and deep mourning. Honored to be so close to something so majestic and so massive and absolutely heartbreaking. Rest in peace.
