I just want to take a second to say thank you.

The support, encouragement, and excitement you all have shown Honor Roll Hot Dogs throughout this journey has meant more than I can put into words.

Opening a restaurant is easily one of the hardest and biggest risks I’ve ever taken. There are days when everything feels like it’s coming together, and days when another unexpected problem/expense shows up.

But through all of it, I keep reminding myself why we started and how far we’ve already come.

What started with a hot dog cart is becoming something I once could only picture in my head.

And now we’re getting closer.

As I write this, the new dining room floor is being installed. Another piece of the vision becoming real.

There’s still plenty of work ahead of us, but my hopes for what Honor Roll Hot Dogs can become have never been higher. I truly believe we’re building something special for Burlington, and I cannot wait for the day we finally get to open those doors and welcome everyone inside.

Thank you for believing in us, supporting us, sharing our posts, buying a hot dog, telling a friend, or simply cheering us on...

It's coming together.

Sometimes you have to miss a day of business to build the next chapter of the business.

We won’t be at Lowe’s today.

There’s a whole lot happening behind the scenes at our new restaurant, and today we’ve got to get the entire place cleared out and ready for the next phase.

Some of the coming days have to be spent turning this next dream into a reality.

So today we’re not slinging hot dogs.
We’re building the place that’s going to produce a whole lot more of them.

We’ve got a restaurant to get ready.

A HUGE Thank you to Chandler Foods for letting Honor Roll Hot Dogs come and tour the facility. Your products are incredible and the level of knowledge and skill that we witnessed today was truly astonishing. Thank you!

If you've ever asked me if we had a good day, you'll know I always say there are only good days and great days.

Over a year ago this was a "good" day. We hadn’t sold a single hot dog in almost two hours. At the time, you laugh about it, pack everything up at the end and go back out the next day.

Because that’s what you do.

Some days make you question what you're doing, and other days remind you exactly why you're doing it.

You don’t always recognize progress while you’re in the middle of it.

Sometimes progress looks like standing behind a hot dog cart for two hours without selling a hot dog.

And sometimes, a year and a half later, it looks like standing inside the building that’s about to become your first restaurant.

That’s probably my favorite part about looking back at videos like this now.
I had no idea where this was headed. I just knew we weren’t stopping. Every good day, every great day, and everything in between helped get us here.
