Honor Roll Hot Dogs

10/14/2026

We've got a busy week ahead at Honor Roll Hot Dogs!

We'll be spending Wednesday and Thursday in front of the restaurant, making two stops on Friday, and wrapping things up Saturday at a community event!

Here's where you can find us this week:

📍 Wednesday, October 14 | 11 AM – 4 PM In front of Honor Roll Hot Dogs 3519 S. Church Street, Burlington

📍 Thursday, October 15 | 11 AM – 7 PM In front of Honor Roll Hot Dogs 3519 S. Church Street, Burlington

📍 Friday, October 16 | 11 AM – 3 PM Lowe's Home Improvement – Burlington

📍 Friday, October 16 | 5 PM – 7 PM Elon Elementary School

📍 Saturday, October 17 | 10 AM – 2 PM 4th Annual Alamance County Crime Stoppers Cruise-In Grace Chapel Parking Lot 2451 Eric Lane, Burlington

We're especially looking forward to Saturday's event! There will be classic cars, police vehicles on display, music, food, and plenty of activities for the whole family, all while showing support for our local first responders and Alamance County Crime Stoppers.

As we continue working toward opening the restaurant, we're doing our best to balance everything happening behind the scenes while still getting out and serving the community that has supported from the beginning.

We appreciate every bit of that support, and we hope to see you out this week!

See you soon!

Just a quick reminder that Honor Roll Hot Dogs will not be operating Friday, October 9th or Saturday, October 10th.

We appreciate everyone's continued support and understanding. We'll be back out serving on Wednesday, October 14th! See you then!

Just recieved a review from someone who has never even tried our food.

It's easy to get caught up in everything going on right now as we get closer to opening the restaurant. There are a million things on our minds and even more things to get done.

There are moments when the weight of everything feels a little heavier than usual. When you're putting everything you have into something you believe in, the pressure can start to get to you.

And sometimes, without even realizing it, you see a reminder of what really matters.

I don't have much to add to this review, other than to say it genuinely means more than words can express.

Yesterday was a pretty good day for the Double Smoked All Beef Brisket Dog!

We got some great feedback, and judging by what everyone had to say, it's looking like this one might need a permanent spot on the new Honor Roll menu!

We even had a few folks posting their reviews, and we love seeing stuff like this!

But we're not done testing just yet!

We're back at Lowe's on Huffman Mill Road today from 11AM–4PM, and we're bringing the Brisket Dog with us.

If you didn't get a chance to try one yesterday, come see us today! It's a quarter pound of double smoked beef and brisket sausage, and we want to know what YOU think.

Should we put it on the new menu?

So far, it seems like the answer is a pretty big yes.

Today is a testing day.

We’ll be set up right outside the new home of Honor Roll Hot Dogs!

11AM–7PM

3519 S. Church Street

And since we’re getting closer to opening, it’s time to start testing a few things that could make the new menu.

First up: Double Smoked All-Beef Brisket Dog out of Charlotte, NC.

It comes in right at a quarter pound of double-smoked beef and brisket sausage

Before we decide whether it earns a permanent spot on the menu, we want you to try it.

You’re the test group today.

Come grab one, give us your feedback, and help us decide...

Does the Brisket Dog make the cut?

See y’all at the restaurant!

Today, there are 8,000 of you following us right here on Facebook and more than 100,000 people following Honor Roll Hot Dogs across all of our platforms.

It’s an honor to have the support of so many people.

A simple “thank you” just doesn’t carry the weight of how much your support truly means to Honor Roll Hot Dogs.

If you’ve bought a hot dog, brought your families, told your friends, shared our posts, left reviews, booked us for events, followed along online, and stopped by just to ask how the restaurant is coming along... Thank you.

We’ve served thousands of people at events, reached millions of people online, and now preparing to open the doors to the first Honor Roll Hot Dogs restaurant.

None of that happens without the people who have supported us along the way.

Every follow, share, comment, review, visit to the cart, and person who has told someone else about us has helped build this.

We don’t take a single bit of it for granted.

8,000 here. More than 100,000 altogether. And a restaurant almost ready to open its doors.

It’s pretty incredible to see how far this hot dog cart has come.

Thank you for believing in Honor Roll Hot Dogs.

We got a call the other day from a local company looking to do something special for their team, and today we get to serve them lunch!

Everyone is getting 2 hot dogs with their choice of toppings, chips, a drink, and a cookie.

That means we will NOT be at Lowe’s today.

Here’s what the rest of the week looks like:

TODAY: Private company event

FRIDAY: Back at Lowe’s on Huffman Mill

SATURDAY: Whitsett Fall Festival

We know our schedule has been a little all over the place lately.

Between events, restaurant work, and everything that comes with getting ready to open, things are changing almost daily.

Still shooting for November 1st opening date.

Right now, the best thing you can do is follow us here and on all of our social media. We’ll keep posting exactly where we’ll be and what we’re doing as we get closer and closer to opening the doors at Honor Roll Hot Dogs.

We’re taking it one day at a time, saying yes to the opportunities that make sense, and getting closer and closer to opening every day.

09/30/2026

We won’t be at Lowe’s today

We’re headed to Carolina Beach!

Yesterday, a restaurant that’s closing held an auction with some equipment we absolutely need to open ours.

Long story short… we won the items and now we’ve got a three hour drive to the coast to pick it up.

We’re getting down to the wire with opening, and some days that means making decisions as we go.

Thank you all for understanding and sticking with us while we get everything ready.

09/25/2026

We have a handful of events we committed to before opening day, and today is one of them!

Today we’re serving 260 people. Every person is getting 2 hot dogs with any toppings, their choice of chips, and a cookie.

Because of that, we will NOT be serving the public today.

There are a couple more days like this coming up before the restaurant opens, so we’ll keep posting right here to let you know where we’ll be each day until we officially open the doors.

But for everyone wondering when you can catch us next:

Saturday, September 26th
Lowe’s Home Improvement
Huffman Mill Rd.
11 AM–4 PM

HONOR ROLL HOT DOGS OPENS NOVEMBER 1ST!

We’re getting really close.

While you're here. Vote for us for best hot dog. Only a few more days left to cast your daily votes!!!
