Cannonball Cabernet Sauvignon is an elegant and expressive, value-driven w**e. An exciting revival of a classic style, it has the best characteristics of traditional California and old world Bordeaux. Intense fruit aromas of black cherry, plum accented by vanilla, caramel and rich toasted oak. Full on the palate with good concentration and considerable structure on the finish.

Cannonball w**es are sourced from select regions throughout California. The diverse microclimates, topography and soils provide the perfect palette to create w**es that are complex, highly consistent, and a pure expression of the variey.

Il Faggio is anItalian w**e made by a seemingly wayward Kiwi, w**emaker Alana McGettigan. The name Il Faggio derives from the beech trees, which proliferate the area, especially in the surrounding Abruzzo national park.

From vineyards around San Salvo in the north of the region, grapes were mainly hand-harvested off pergola-trained vines. De-stemmed, crushed and pumped into stainless steel tanks, the w**e fermented at temperatures up to 34 degrees Celsius for about 6 days. Frequent pump overs early to increase extraction were reduced toward the end of fermentation. The w**e was then transferred to tank for malolactic fermentation. Matured in stainless steel and large format multi-use oak for approximately 9 months prior to bottling. The resulting w**e is a really incredible value. Sustainably farmed, this Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is fresh, medium-bodied, black fruits, black cherry, coffee and chocolate notes. It is made to match with simple, everyday cuisine, think pizza!

The Lopez de Heredia Tondonia Reserva 2014 is stunning. The blend this year is 80% Tempranilo, 15% Garnacho and the rest Graciano and Mazuelo. It matured in the old oak vats and well-seasoned American oak barrels for eight years and has 13.5% alcohol. Beautifully balanced, combining power and elegance, with energy and a polished and elegant palate. This w**e was awarded 95 points from Robert Parker's W**e Advocate.

The Tondonia is the flagship of the w**ery and probably nowadays the most popular of a l the Rioja w**es made in this special region. This again is a w**e we a l personally buy every year. These w**es drink amazingly well now but have the ability to age gracefully another 20 years easy.

Vallformosa is a 100% family-owned w**ery, now managed by the fifth generation of the Domènech family, established in 1865 in Vilobí del Penedès. The family’s w**e-making tradition has been handed down from generation to generation. The passion of their forefathers to improve the vineyards and seek perfection in the w**e-making process runs in their blood.

The Mistinguett Brut is a light straw color with greenish tints. The carbonated content is bright and lively. Its aromas are a mixture of fruit (melon, apple and banana) and the result of fermentation (toasted notes). Harmonious and appetizing in the mouth, with a light touch of acidity. A rounded and elegant aftertaste. Classic fruity finish.

The Domaine Chamonard Morgon is a gorgeous natural w**e. The nose is very fragrant, with straightforward aromas of cherry, raspberry and freshly turned earth. Medium in body, the w**e is perfectly balanced between full fruit and lively acidity, with an earthy touch on the finish. Long, robust, a touch rustic yet so structured, ample and complex, this w**e possesses the richness characteristic of the village of Morgon w**es and great ageing potential.

Jean-Claude "Le Chat" Chanudet took over the 18th-century Domaine Chamonard in 1989 and has spent decades working in the semi-carbonic style of Jules Chauvet, the chemist-philosopher whose thinking underpins the whole natural w**e movement — Eric Texier reckons nobody comes closer to doing it the way Chauvet intended. Chamonard sits right alongside the Gang of Four, sometimes counted as the fifth member of a "Gang of Five," and Chanudet has long been the region's enfant terrible. The estate is tiny — 5.5 hectares all told, the vast majority of it Morgon, seven parcels scattered across the Grands Cras, Le Colombien and Château Gaillard sectors, plus a slice of the steep Fleurie hill of La Madone. Morgon is arguably the most famous of the ten crus, and its blue-tinged granite and decomposed schist (the locals call it "rotten") is what gives these Gamays their savory grip rather than mere fruit.

The Bindi Sergardi Achille is fresh and bright cherry aromas and flavors. Medium body, light tannins and a bright finish. Lemony undertone. A mix of Sangiovese and Merlot, fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats and maceration lasts circa 15 days at a controlled temperature of 28° C. Shortly after malolactic fermentation the w**e is transferred into barriques for refinement.

The Bindi Sergardi family has always lived on and loved the land of Siena, in Tuscany, Italy. Alessandra and Maddalena Casini Bindi Sergardi represent the 23rd generation of the family and carry on its values of integrity, authenticity, and audacity. Together with their father Nicolò, they continue the evolution of the family’s 700-year-old experience in the culture of the vineyard. The three estates of Mocenni (Vagliagli), I Colli (Monteriggioni and Vagliagli), and Marcianella (Chiusi and Montepulciano) have a strong cultural identity, promoted w**es, which express a clear connection with the territory.

Introducing the first New Zealand 1 Liters to come to Vermont! Tua Tua Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon Blanc are big bottles of refreshment! The Sauvignon Blanc is expressively aromatic with vivid passionfruit, juicy lime, and fresh grapefruit. The signature Marlborough green edge — gooseberry and herbal accents — lifts the mid-palate, while zesty acidity carries through to a clean, refreshing finish. The Pinot Grigio has an elegant, lifted nose of honeysuckle and white blossom sets the stage. Crisp orchard fruit — fresh pear and white peach — fills the palate with gentle weight from three months on light lees.

In a small coastal village in New Zealand, there was a legend surrounding a mysterious seashell called the Tua Tua. To them, the Tua Tua was a reminder to respect the ocean and live in harmony with nature. As time passed, the legend of the Tua Tua continued to evolve, with each generation adding new layers of meaning to the mysterious seashell. Some saw it as a symbol of hope and possibility. Ultimately, the Tua Tua remained a symbol of the complexities and ambiguities of life, inviting all who encountered it to ponder its multilayered meanings and respect its power.

Borgogno’s No Name was born out of protest. Nearly twenty years ago, Borgogno submitted two Barolo samples to the official tasting commission. Made identically but aged in separate casks, one was approved. The other was not. Riled—but motivated—Borgogno was determined to share the rejected w**e with the world: a Barolo denied its name. Hence, No Name. Aged for three years in cask, the current release comes from three of Barolo’s most prestigious sites: Cannubi, Fossati, and Liste.

Like benchmark Barolo, its aromas pull you into the glass with magnetic force—into a forest of cherry, cardamom, plum spice, and foggy earth. Then, in ready-to-drink fashion, it glides across the palate like a buoy, carried by freakishly fine tannins.

Kith & Kin, Old English for “Friends & Family,” is a Chardonnay sourced from a property in the Russian River Valley and is created in a fresh and vibrant style. This fruit is sourced from the heart of Russian River Valley where nightly ocean fog patterns create a cooling effect slows down the ripening process, preserving high acidity and increasing flavor development in the grapes. The vineyard is sustainably farmed and planted on well drained, loamy soils. We harvested grapes by hand in the cool of the night, picking fruit at varying ripeness levels to enhance aromatic layers and palate complexity. The fruit was gently pressed whole cluster to minimize skin contact and, again, preserve the grapes’ naturally high acidity. A portion of this w**e was put through malolactic fermentation to soften its high acidity, broaden the palate, and add a touch of toasty bouquet to the nose.
