Medicine River Ranch

Medicine River Ranch We are a small farmstead in Northwest Oklahoma. We have a variety of livestock and grow vegetables.

We are a family with a passion for self-sufficiency and sustainability. Our small farm is located in NW Oklahoma along the Medicine River where we raise registered Miniature Nubian dairy goats, registered Karakachan Livestock Guardian dogs, beef cattle, donkeys, chickens, and we are just getting started in registered dairy cattle. We have a vegetable garden, make goat milk soap and other products

that we sell in our farm store. We also make our own cheeses and raw milk products, sell raw milk, farm fresh eggs, and recently added a greenhouse with hydroponics that we are excited to get up and going. Our goal is to raise quality animals that benefit our needs and will benefit the needs of those looking to purchase quality animals and farm fresh products. We sell many animals and products off the farm as well as attending Farmer’s Markets in our area to showcase and sell our goods and products.

**ANNOUNCEMENT**
Beginning July 1, 2026 we will be making the following changes:
•Milk will be sold in plastic jugs (1/2 gallon and gallon will be available)
•Yogurt will be sold in 32oz plastic containers
•We will no longer take jar deposits or exchanges. If you prefer your milk in jars, we ask that you bring your own jars that we will fill for you. You can do this two ways: bring clean jars and leave with us and specify your date to pickup so we fill at milking time OR bring your clean jars and we pour from our jars into yours. NOTE: We will
NOT mess with dirty jars or containers that we do not feel are safe to use.
•We will no longer offer cream for sale (Our milk has cream in it so it can be skimmed and the milk is still delicious)

We will also have the following price increases:
•Milk (1/2 gallon): $4.50 in jug or $3.75 in your jars
•Milk (gallon): $8.00 in jug or $6.50 in your jars
•Yogurt: $5.50 for 32oz container

**If you have a jar deposit on file with us, we can refund when you return our jars with lids and seals OR we can apply the refund to your first order.**

We understand that no one likes change or price increases and we have held off as long as we could.

Also, we are working on a self-service space but until that is ready all pickups will need to be scheduled prior to arriving.
Thank you for your continued support and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Camille says, “We’re back!”

We had a fantastic, much needed family vacation but we are home and back at it. We have fresh, raw milk available now and will be restocking Greek yogurt this week as well.

As always, please make arrangements for pickup before you come to the farm to ensure we will be available.

Changes are coming to the farm so be watching for updates.

The milk fridge is overflowing so it is a “Big Bertha” kind of day around here… Big Bertha is a 40qt. brew kettle that works fabulously for cheesemaking! 😅

These 8 gallons of milk will yield approximately 8lbs of cheese. This one will be Monterrey Jack.

I just took two 2lb Colby cheeses out of the brine to air dry for a few days before waxing and aging. I will be waxing the 2lb Monterey Jack and 2lb PepperJack, then it will go in the cheese fridge to age for 60 days.
