Every goatherder needs a crook! There’s cheaper ones on Amazon but I like this one from Premier1Supplies. We first saw a lady using one on a goat we were picking up and my mind was blown. It takes a bit of finesse but ultimately it extends your reach pretty significantly and is great at grabbing goats on the run even.

The nice thing about this one is the added leg hook. It even has a latch on it so if your goat is big enough and you get that leg they are not coming out.

Do goats eat pickles? This one certainly does! This is Belle, one of our registered purebred Nubians. I’m not sure she knows how to use her tongue though 😅

Sharing our goat farm secrets we have picked up over the years… The first one is probably a little unconventional.

Little Tikes stuff makes great goat shelters for the price. You can find this stuff used on Marketplace for less than a hundred bucks once kids grow out of it. It’s lightweight, usually comes apart easily so you don’t need a trailer to get it, and it’s built to last outside.

There’s the bonus entertainment/enrichment perks too.. lots of them come with the slide or a catwalk on some of the nicer ones, great for little goat kids with zoomies. You can buy one big fancy one or a few small houses and watch everyone run around exploring every nook and cranny.

Not every goat will eat everything, but some goats will eat anything! This guy is that goat, one day we will find something he doesn’t like… today is not that day.

Things are getting a little feisty in this August heat 😅😅 Beans wants to lay around all day, but the Captain has other plans… Safe to say breeding season has begun for the goats
