October Moms 2026 club. Tres Leches is one of our favorite Nigerians, she’s a great mom and will continue to produce some F1 Mini Nubians for us. When they’re not waddling around the farm, You can find Tres Leches and Elsie in Facebook groups debating the value of different stroller features or diaper brands. Not inspired by true events

A new goat hotel for the pasture without the barn so the goats don’t have to use the livestock trailer for cover anymore.

This is a new and improved 3x2x2 version of the first 2x1 pallet hut I made. It’s bigger in every way and I can stand in it so I think this one is rightfully a PALACE. I think it needs a balcony next.

Do you think this deer is a first time mom or a second? We got a fawn update for Father’s Day here at JKGP.

The earliest photo I could find of this little one was May 9th. That implies this doe was bred before hunting season even began(late October)! I saw our biggest buck of the year almost a month later on November 16th.

This is how you catch a skittish goat that won’t let anyone near. Dogs, the answer is dogs.

I have been struggling to wrangle this goat so I called in the experts. I put up a for sale ad.. free to the first person to catch her. Took them maybe 10-15 minutes and then she was in the trailer and on the way to her new home. Good riddance!
