Deanna did these up today. So the salt is a way of preserving the herbs without dehydrating them. They will be kept in the fridge. She used Redmond’s ancient sea salt (which we bought in bulk). Our goal is to try and have a years worth of food, seasonings and other items preserved and or stored and ready to go. Definatly won’t hit it this year but game on for next year.

Green house frame almost complete. To hot to finish But this week will be finished. Will post pics of the Now we can extend the gardening season all the way around. So hopefully next year we will have starts for anyone wanting to buy some. Meekers home nursery will hopefully be fully functional. So keep an eye out here and my personal page. Well 60 plus dinners just arrived on the homestead. IN about 9 weeks we will butcher. We typically get 2-3 dinners per bird. At about $60 for all of them it Definatly is worth the price in todays market.

So the in ground duck pond/ boat is finished. Ducks love it. This will serve 2 purposes. One for the ducks to swim and get out of the heat. Second after a month or so we will pump the duck fertilized water on the garden. Repurposing at its finest.
