The heat is moving in, and our peony season will be short and sweet this year. We’re picking the last of the blooms now, and once they’re gone, they’re gone!

If you’ve been hoping for a peony bouquet, now is the time to reach out and place an order. These beautiful, fragrant blooms won’t last much longer in the field and I don’t want them sitting in the stand in the heat!

15 years ago my cousin Meredith Cass Callanan bought the book Miss Rumphius for my oldest daughter laurenstonee and it became a quick favorite in our house.

We finally grew lupine from seed in 2024 and it took 2 years for the lupine to bloom but this season our patience was beautifully rewarded. We can’t wait to see more in the years to come.
