Been a long while since I posted! Planting and spraying are in full swing for 2026. The guys are gearing up to race again this year (got to go one weekend already). Along with that, we have welcomed a few hair sheep to the farm, and I’m in love! The mini cattle have been sold, and I believe these guys will do a lot better at keeping weeds down. FYI, I’m on the hunt for more hair sheep if you know of any! Please pray for rain! So many fires around. I know they need the rain, and the farmers need it to get the crops up! God bless!!

Hate to make this post, but I’m going to offer my mini cow herd as a package deal. I have a bull, a cow/calf pair and cow should be bred back to the bull, and a heifer that should be bred to the bull. Heifer is dun in color and not pictured. Both cows would be due this summer/fall. Will take cubes from your hand. PM me for info.

That’s a wrap on 2025 harvest season. God has been so, so good to us. Minimal breakdowns, and what we did have, Chad was able to fix. God kept all of our crew safe. It was great to harvest with Justin and Meggie and their crew again this year! Chase decided he was ready to take over my job. I’m guessing another year, and I won’t be needed full-time! Now it looks like we could get some rain. God is good!

She’s such a good momma. New baby today and still loves her last year’s baby.

Mocha had a very beautiful bull calf today. He was a dun and white. Unfortunately he was born backwards and didn’t make it. We will try again for next year. The bad part of owning livestock is the babies you can’t save.
