Lambing season came earlier than expected this year because of a fast maturing ram lamb…and I’m pretty happy about it!

Since we raise grass-fed lamb, we don’t separating the lambs from the ewes to feed them grain. So we didn’t take into account that the lambs would be mature enough for breeding with the extra growth time that comes with pasturing.

Now we know! Always learning something new with our sheep…and absolutely loving the new faces on the farm! 🐑
