🐶❤️ Smokehouse Liquor LOVES its fur babies! ❤️🐶
And since it’s National Dog Day, we want to share Cora’s story with you! 🐾
We’ve always been dog people. We had our Boston Terriers, Katie & Hank, who have since crossed the rainbow bridge 🌈🐶. Then came Cora. ❤️
A family friend told us that her mother and father-in-law could no longer keep her because of their age. When Cora came to us, she was a little… “chunky.” 😂 Apparently, her previous owner was giving her COOKIES for meals. And listen, We’re all about a cookie being part of a meal… but maybe not as the entire meal! 🤣🍪
Cora’s story actually started in Colorado. Her original owner was arrested and sadly abandoned her. A family next door took her in and eventually brought her to Kansas to live with their grandparents.
Long story short… Cora has been with us since 2017! 🥰
She is:
🐾 VERY food motivated
🐾 A little whiney 😂
🐾 Completely spoiled, Dad takes her to the golden arch occasionally
🐾 And she can’t hear, so we’ve learned a whole lot of sign language together! 🤟🏻❤️
She may have had a rough start, but this girl hit the jackpot when she found her way to us. 🥹🐶
So on National Dog Day, stop in and bring your puppers with you! We’d LOVE to meet them! 🐕❤️
We even have a little snacky snack waiting for your fur baby! 🦴😉
