Kappus Farms Inc Kappus Farms is a fruit farm located in Olcott NY. We have U-Pick cherries and we sell peaches in season.

Kappus Farms is a diversified deciduous fruit farm located near the southwest shore of Lake Ontario in New York State. The farm is located on prime fruit soil that was deposited thousands of years ago by the lake. This gives us a unique advantage over most farms in that we are able to grow a wide variety of fruits. Among these are Apples, Peaches, Plums, Prunes, Pears, Sweet Cherries, Nectarines, Apricots and Tart Cherries.

In the mood to bake your fresh fruit? Here is an EASY recipe for a FANCY French dessert 🪭 This is a Red Plum Clafoutis but the plums can also be replaced with peaches of course! 🍑

Butter your baking dish.
Slice Kappus Farms plums or peaches about 1/4 inch thick. No need to peel your plums, but do peel your peaches 🙂
Line the bottom of your baking dish with your sliced fruit.
Next, mix the following in a bowl and mix:
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 tbsp brown sugar
1/8 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
3 eggs
1 cup milk
Pour the mixture over your sliced fruits.
Bake for 45 min at 350 degrees.
Enjoy!
