Heating water can cause dissolved minerals to come out of solution more readily, which is one reason scale tends to build up inside water heaters and on fixtures that regularly use hot water.

Over time, that mineral buildup can affect efficiency and take up space inside the tank.

A little look inside Wolverine Water Treatment

One of our favorite parts of the space is how much of Wolverine’s history we were able to keep on display. From original equipment and old advertisements to the modern showroom we use today, there’s a lot of history packed inside these walls.

Wolverine has been serving Michigan water since 1947, and while a lot has changed over the years, our commitment to quality water and taking care of our customers hasn’t.

This customer already had a water softener, but was still dealing with iron and sulfur issues — so we added an Ozomax iron & sulfur filtration system to complete their water treatment setup.

The ozone system is designed to tackle those stubborn problems a softener alone isn’t meant to handle:
