Alegria Therapeutic Center D.B.A. Alegria Ranch is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of seniors, adults and children. The programs utilize all animals and assets on the ranch to enhance the lives of any child 4 years and older of any gender, race, physical
and mental abilities, or socioeconomic status who are in need can participate in the program. Located on a private ranch on 30 acres in Bush, Louisiana, Alegria is a certified full-service animal assisted therapeutic center, complete with over 60 animals, including large and miniature horses and donkeys, sheep, goats, dogs, cats, chickens, a mini potbellied pig, an alpaca and a handsome rooster named Brad Pitt. The center is wheelchair accessible and includes barns, an activities arena, ranch house, and an educational teaching area. As a non-profit 501(c)(3) all proceeds go straight into our programs and animal care. We are a private facility - by appointment or invitation only. Financial Assistance May be Available!
