The 4T has 3 steers ready. They are between 1200-1500 pounds. They have been grain fed for a year. They get all the grass, hay, molasses, salt as they want. They are hormone free and from a close herd.

We have decided to use Braford bulls on our herd. We had a half Angus half Angus/Brangus bull for 5 years and now we are trying something different.

The Braford cows were bred for Florida. Grass, weather, lack of seasons - they are a breed that should show great results next calving season.

First cane cooking ever at the 4T. Buddy Davis (My father-in -law) cooked syrup for years. I asked him if I could marry his daughter around a cane kettle.

Lydia, Chris, Danielle, and I have been working for years to make this happen.

We were able to cook 8.5 gallons of cane syrup! It tastes great!

We had friends and family help us with this cook!
