16 little guinea keets of various colors showed up today. Another nest is set to hatch soon.

Just a few forms to be submitted to the USDA FSA tomorrow. Needed to document EVERYTHING. I thought they were going to ask my birth weight and date/time/location of my conception.

Literally sick to my stomach the past few days.

Thunder is one of three working dogs on the farm. He’s a Great Pyrenees. He guards the flock and the herds of alpaca and goats. He was a foster from North East Pyr rescue that I ended up adopting. He’s been the best livestock guardian dog that’s ever been on the farm. 141 pounds of floof. Loves people. Foxes and other predators not so much. His presence, scent, and deep voice help create a bubble predators don’t want to enter.

Update on Woody the tiny less than 3 # kitten found burrowed in the wood pile last winter on a 4 degree night. She terrorized my upstairs bathroom all winter. She was spayed 4 weeks ago. Released in the garage to live with the other barn cats last Friday. She figured out the cat door on the garage by Monday. There have been sporadic sightings this week. She slipped free of her breakaway collar and tag but has returned to the garage. I guess she decided this is her place. She’s still spicy like a jalapeño. But not line the ghost pepper she was on day one.
