Sweet & Savory Farmette is a VERY small farm occupying only 7 and a half acres in the bustling rural metropolis of Buskirk, NY (population of less than 1000) situated on the New York and Vermont border. From this little plot of land, we supply our local community and beyond with fiber, food, flowers, and fun. On the sweet side, depending on the season and availability you can enjoy some wildflower
honey, maple syrup, raspberries, or apples. If you prefer things on the savory side our shiitake mushrooms or chicken and duck eggs may be to your liking. No matter what you are very likely to just have a fun time visiting either virtually or in person when the farm is open. The antics of the seven types of poultry are entertaining enough, but the alpacas are so darned cute. The super soft pygora goats may be more your thing if you are into mohair. Covered in alpaca hats, socks, gloves and such, that is. Alpaca yarn is also available if you just want to build your own creation.
