Would you be interested in having available a self-serve flower stand a few times a week? The heat would dictate the hours, probably 8-11 am or 7 -9 pm. I’m considering Friday evening, Saturday morning and would like to add one other time through the week. What other day would you suggest? Does this sound like something you’d like to have available? What are your thoughts? Feedback would be appreciated!

I’m taking a break from the Fairfield Farmers Market until the weather cools down. Neither I or the cut flowers do well in this heat. Thanks to everyone who shopped at the market. This morning while harvesting sunflowers I heard some munching. I looked around - there was Eli standing in the middle of a flower bed enjoying the sunflower sprouts I planted 10 days ago! I told him to get out of there. A few minutes later I looked around and couldn’t find him. Turns out he was hiding behind the fire pit. I think he was pouting! Really can’t blame him too much – sunflower sprouts are delicious!

As always if you need a bouquet for a special occasion or just because, I can put together one especially for you! I do need to have 24 hours notice so I can properly condition the flowers before building your special bouquet.
