Theorizing on why the garden isn't thriving this year...

We filled the garden beds with compost and maybe it wasn't aged well enough.

The weather's been cold, hot, dry, wet.

It feels the hate in the atmosphere and doesn't want to live anymore.

I'm going with #3.
