Abundant Life Farm by Steve and Kristen Bohn

Abundant Life Farm by Steve and Kristen Bohn We are currently rehabilitating a conventionally managed century plus farm (est. 1831).

Harnessing natural processes to facilitate accelerated habitat for native and non-native species of plants and animals. As good stewards, we are creation focused, not yield focused, and design our productive systems toward natural abundance with the goal of eliminating any negative environmental impact. We have incorporated a multi-zone perennial food forest with a diversity of plants, and utilize

intensive rotation grazing of goats and chickens in order to maintain symbiosis with nature. We also started a small market garden using various season extension technologies, and permanent raised bed systems that, once installed, will not disturb the soil structure or soil organisms. In return we can produce nutrient dense food with little or no fossil fuel, chemical fertilizer, or potentially harmful pesticides, herbicides, or fungicides. As a certified permaculture design consultant Steve can assist anyone with a similar design from micro-scale container gardens, to more complex broad acre designs, and anything in between.
