💎 We Found Our Next Montana’s Treasure: Helena Education Foundation!

First graders got to watch some of their Fabulous Firsts books come to life through skits performed by Helena High School advanced drama students. Seeing the older students share their talents and the younger students light up made for such a special morning!

What a treasure! 💎

We were honored to shine a light on the Helena Education Foundation as Harrington Bottling Company’s second Montana’s Treasure!

Through programs like Fabulous Firsts, classroom grants and community partnerships, HEF creates opportunities for students, supports educators and brings people together around a shared belief: Great schools are everyone’s business!

As a family-owned company, we’re Locally Rooted and Community Connected. Montana’s Treasures helps us shine a light on the people and organizations making a difference in their communities and share their stories with more Montanans. 💎

Now, HEF gets to nominate another person or organization deserving of recognition, and we can’t wait to see who they choose! ✨

🏈 TAILGATING WITH THE MONTANA TECH OREDIGGERS!

Rain or shine, Orediggers show up! ⛏️🧡 And a little chilly, rainy weather wasn’t about to stop the Homecoming fun in Butte this weekend!

Harrington Bottling Company was happy to sponsor the Montana Tech Homecoming tailgate and spend the day with our Tech family as the Orediggers brought home an incredible 62–0 victory over MSU-Northern! 🎉

Now, who says lemonade is only for warm, sunny days? 🍋😂 We brought out AZ Lemonade Stand for fans to try, and WOW, they loved it! People were asking where they could find it again, and even Charlie the Oredigger got in on the fun! Huckleberry and Prickly Pear were the crowd favorites this time!

Our team loved catching up with familiar faces, meeting new ones and enjoying a day full of food, friends and some seriously popular lemonade! 🍋 It was a pretty sweet way to spend a rainy Saturday in Butte, with Oredigger pride all around! ⛏️

Now THAT’S Butte Strong! 💪💙🧡

We love showing up for our communities, supporting the traditions that bring people together and making memories with the people and places we’re lucky enough to call home.

Last night, we got to celebrate our very own Joe McClafferty! 💙

Joe was honored with a Distinguished Alumni Award at Montana Technological University, a place that has been part of his story for decades!

If you know Joe, you know how much he believes in people and their potential. He loves helping others see what they’re capable of and reminding us that every person has a purpose, every story matters, and great leaders help others discover both. It’s at the heart of who he is, and you see it in the way he leads, encourages others, and lives out his belief in making someone’s day better.

A Butte kid through and through, Joe was an Oredigger basketball player who played on three championship teams under Coach Kelvin Sampson. He later returned to Montana Tech in leadership roles, helping shape the university that had already given him so much. ⛏️

Today, as CEO of Harrington Bottling Company, he brings that same heart for people into everything he does. He’s also a children’s book author, storyteller and motivational speaker who uses humor and real-life stories to share messages about purpose, gratitude, resilience, teamwork and belonging. He even helped bring Charlie the Oredigger to life and authored How the Diggers Got Their Name!

We’re so happy to see Joe recognized by a place that means so much to him. Congratulations, Joe! This honor is so well deserved! 💙🧡

Our very own Jamison Byrns was recently recognized by Butte Sunrise Kiwanis with their Community Recognition Award, and we're so happy to see him celebrated!

Butte Sunrise Kiwanis does so much for the Butte community, especially its kids and families, through programs that support education, youth leadership, winter gear and families in need.

Thank you to Butte Sunrise Kiwanis for this recognition and all you do for Butte! And Jamison, thank you for all your hard work and the difference you make in our community. We're so lucky to have you as part of the Harrington family! 💙

Harrington Employee Spotlight: Meet Gregg!

🐴 Did you know Gregg has seven mules and can often be found riding through the Montana backcountry?

Gregg is the Market Manager for Harrington Bottling Company in Bozeman and has been part of the Harrington team for 24 years, starting in sales in 2002 when the Bozeman market had just three salespeople.

These days, Gregg keeps busy with everything from store resets and merchandiser schedules to selling routes, keeping customers happy and heading to Yellowstone to get stores ready for the season. With a changing Bozeman market, no two weeks are quite the same!

Gregg also knows what it means to show up for the communities we serve. When Harrington supported the Belgrade Football team's BBQ fundraiser, Gregg didn't just drop off product and head out. He put on an apron, stayed for the day and helped hand out drinks and serve right alongside the team.

💧 What’s something people might not know about you?

I arrived in Bozeman in 1988 and enjoy everything outdoors. When I'm not working, you'll find me spending time with my wife, Angie, and our seven mules and other pets.

After 24 years at Harrington, Gregg says the best part is surrounding yourself with good people and continuing The Harrington Way.

🏈 TAILGATING WITH THE CARROLL COLLEGE FIGHTING SAINTS!

We had a blast tailgating with the Carroll College crew yesterday as the Fighting Saints celebrated Homecoming with a 73-0 win over Arizona Christian!

Our Hydration Station flag was flying high, and let’s just say… people noticed. 😂 We had plenty of folks stop by saying they needed a little hydration, and we were more than happy to help! 💧

Our team was out and about all afternoon, handing out Harrington footballs, serving up hot dogs and hamburgers, and enjoying time with students, families and Carroll fans.

And we were especially happy to have Hope and Thunder from Shodair Children’s Hospital join us! They helped hand out Harrington footballs and copies of The Bison and the Firefly, spreading a little extra fun throughout the crowd. 💙

We’re proud to be the Official Water of Shodair Children’s Hospital and to support the incredible work they do for children and families across Montana. They truly are a treasure in our community, and we’re so happy to cheer them on and support the work they do! 💙

We’re loving every minute of getting out and about, connecting with the people and places we’re lucky enough to call home. Supporting our schools, showing up for our neighbors and making a few better days along the way. ❤️

We’re grateful to see our first Montana’s Treasure, Special Olympics Montana, featured by the Montana Standard. 💙

There are so many people and organizations doing meaningful work right here in our communities, and we’re thankful for the opportunity to help shine a light on them.

From the MSU Career Fair: “Wait... are you Harrington Bottling?!”

That was one of our favorite moments from yesterday’s MSU Career Fair. 😂

A student spotted our booth and ran over to tell us, “My roommate works for you and he absolutely loves it! He talks about it all the time.”

And that was just one of the conversations that made yesterday such a fun day.

A few others:

🔬 A student interested in science wanted to connect with our chemical engineer.

⚙️ A mechanical engineering student was excited about the idea of touring our production facility and seeing how everything works.

📚 A history major was looking for an opportunity to work while finishing school.

🤝 A graduating senior who loves talking to people was interested in sales and the idea of a job where every day can look a little different.

🧮 We also connected with students interested in accounting and other areas of the business.

💡 A student entrepreneur stopped by, too. He recently started a food truck and was interested in carrying our Montana-made water.

And that's what made yesterday so much fun. We weren't just talking about jobs. We were talking about businesses, careers, ideas and ways we could connect.

Production. Engineering. Sales. Delivery. Vending. Restaurant equipment. Accounting. And plenty of opportunities to learn, grow and find your place.

We had a packed house of students, and we loved meeting them, hearing what they're interested in and sharing a little bit about what it's like to be part of Harrington.

We’re family-owned, locally rooted and connected to the communities we call home. And this was a pretty great reminder of what that looks like in action.

Thank you, Montana State University, for having us! We had a blast. 💙

💧 Montana’s Treasure: Special Olympics Montana

Harrington Bottling Company was honored to recognize Special Olympics Montana as our first Montana’s Treasure, with members of our Harrington team and Community Ambassador Brooke Badovinac helping present the award during the State Basketball Kickoff Event in Butte.

There are so many reasons we chose Special Olympics Montana. They bring people together, create opportunities, celebrate every athlete and make sure everyone has a place to belong. Their impact reaches far beyond the playing field and strengthens communities across Montana.

The evening was full of stories, supporters and plenty of cheering! We ended the night hearing from Butte athlete Joe Gibson, who won gold at the USA Games this summer, followed by the athlete oath:

Let me win. But if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt.

Now that’s a treasure! 💧

A Montana’s Treasure is a person, organization or group that shows up for others, shares their time and talents, and makes their community a little better. Some are well known. Others quietly make a difference every day.

And this is just the beginning. We’re looking forward to finding more of Montana’s hidden treasures, celebrating the people behind them and sharing their stories along the way.

Why? Because treasures are meant to be shared. 💧
