Hi, I'm Nick Dekker, but you can call me Dr. Breakfast. (I really do.) I'm a food and travel writer based in central Ohio. I've been writing Breakfast With Nick since 2007, beginning first as a lowly breakfast blog and now expanding to explore food, drink, travel, family

fun, the arts, and much more. A couple weeks ago we visited the Prototype experimental museum, located a couple doors down from Nocterra Brewing Co.'s Audubon brewpub by the Audubon Metro Park. It's intended for ages 16+ and is a pretty fascinating experience marrying art and technology. Hundreds of artists, programmers, sculptors, musicians, and animators have created multiple rooms of interactive pieces. The experience was engaging and surprisingly thoughtful at times. And there's even a full bar and lounge at the end of it!

I like posting little travel tips and favorite destinations on Tuesdays, and today my mind is wandering back to a little bakery on the island of Hydra in Greece. I don’t even remember the name, but it’s tucked down a little side alley, and they made lovely pastries, and we ate them while we waited for the ferry.

With such a lovely morning before us, I'd suggest getting breakfast from Mordisco Kitchen at one of their two locations...
