The team behind Veritas and Speck Italian Eatery downtown have opened Amara Restaurant, a beautiful Mediterranean spot in the former Milestone 229 space along The Scioto Mile. We visited for dinner and had a wonderful experience, from the cocktails to the food to the service. Check out our visit!

Chef Josh Dalton and his team have another hit on their hands with Amara, a modern Mediterranean outpost on Columbus' Scioto Mile downtown.

Start your week by supporting a local coffee shop! I really dig the Biscoff lattes from Ravello's, which is currently parked at The Daily Bar in Italian Village!

While I'm thinking of it... if you're able to support any local restaurants, especially those affected by last week's storms, try paying them a visit!

I often think back to our dinner at Cafe Istanbul of Dublin last year, sitting on the big covered patio with cocktails. Their lamb kebabs are perhaps the most tender lamb I've ever tasted!

Ever since we went on the Columbus Food Adventures Asian Eats tour a couple weeks ago, I've been thinking about our stop at Tensuke Ramen. So we took the boys there for dinner last night! Delicious bowls of ramen, yakisoba, karaage, and gyoza. Highly recommend a stop there!
