There is something deeply satisfying about sinking my hands into the soil. 🌱
The coolness to the touch.
The rich, earthy scent.
The softness of it.
It grounds me.
Then and there, nothing else matters.
Not because I'm trying to escape life,
but because I'm fully present in it.
I love the anticipation of planting.
Gently placing tiny seeds into the ground and dreaming of the blooms, the fruit, the bountiful harvest to come. 🌿
I love checking on them each day.
Hoping, praying, waiting.
And I still do a little happy dance when the first bean sprouts or a tomato ripens on the vine. 🤭
There is something beautiful about tending a garden. Pulling away what doesn't belong. Nurturing what does. Watching something small become something far bigger.
It's enough.
Everyone seems to be searching for a richer life. Meanwhile, I'm standing in my garden realizing how rich mine already is.
With dirt beneath my nails, sunshine on my skin, and a smile on my face, it's hard to imagine wanting to be anywhere else. ☀️
