Meet Alkindus. This beautiful red butterhead lettuce gets its name from al-Kindi, a philosopher, musician, and mathematician from Baghdad in the 800s. Aside from lending his name to a vegetable, one of his biggest claims to fame was helping to establish the numeral system that became the numbers we use today.

New item alerts! Spicy Asian cucumber pickles, as well as hot honey goat cheese spread. The kitchen has also churned out more scape butter, rosemary and thyme goat cheese spread, Greek style feta dip, as well as cookies, blueberry bars, and carrot cake

We are also serving Jim's Organic cold brew again.

On the vegetable front, we have added garlic scapes chard, salad turnips, and parsley to the ranks.
