🌿 Trials and Tribulations: The Pruning of the Vine
Life has a way of bringing storms that shake us to our core. Seasons of loss, pressure, heartbreak, and uncertainty hit hard. In those moments, it can feel like everything is falling apart.
But remember what Jesus said: “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.” (John 15:1-2)
Some branches fall. Some people don’t make it through the storm. Some give up when the cutting hurts too much.
But the ones who stay connected to the Vine? They endure the pruning. They withstand the wind and rain. They allow the Master Gardener to trim away what’s dead, what’s draining them, and what’s holding them back. And from that pain comes greater growth, deeper roots, and sweeter fruit than they ever imagined.
God is faithful in His pruning. He doesn’t cut to destroy you—He cuts to develop you. What feels like loss right now is actually preparation for a greater harvest.
So stay strong.
Stay steady.
Stay rooted in Him.
The storm will pass. The pruning will end. And you will grow into a version of yourself that brings glory to the One who never lets go of you.

Better fruit is coming.
