Kent County Conservation District is looking for volunteers for the urban garden tour.

CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS:

If you consider yourself a native plant enthusiast already, you just might make for an ideal volunteer docent for the Native Plant Yard Tour.

As a docent, you will be assigned to one of the tour stops for a 4-hour shift to greet visitors and assist with the interpretation of the landscape, depending upon the needs of the landscape and the owner. You need not be a native plant "expert," but we do expect a basic level of native plant knowledge.

In exchange for your service, you will be able to visit the rest of the Tour stops during the other half of the day at no charge.

Dear friends, I had originally posted an entire summer of events that I planned. I have had to postpone all of them due to a pesky flu that won’t leave me alone. I have decided to move many of the events to fall and will update my insta/fb the dates.
