Summer U-pick dates are getting closer along with our garden club dates!!

August-September is our U-pick season!

Garden club is July 25th & Sept 19th where you get to come see the farm see what we do, tour the veg garden, and meet our vendors! (U-pick might be available too🤞🏻) More info coming soon!

Garlic Scapes are here!!

Scape are the first offer of the garlic plant, second being the bulb👍🏻 we cut them off to preserve the size of the bulb grown underground. Scapes would eventually turn into the flower then when pollinated turn into garlic seed. And we don’t want that. So we cut them.

Scapes can be used in cooking just like garlic, with the same but mild flavor of garlic. And are 100% delicious.

Sauté, roast, bake, keep for long term in your freezer or store in your fridge with olive oil (my personal favorite) I use a small mason jar.

Try them out! They are available in the farm store 🧄

It all comes with it, but it still sucks. Wasted money, wasted meat. Such a bummer.

Keep calm and carry on, keep these ones feed and watered and reinforce the things so raccoons can’t peel lt away again. Lord have mercy.

They will be up in 4-6 weeks depending on the variety. Some have already pre sprouted and have cracked to soil. It’s so good to see.

These beauties will put on the buds in late July early August and will put on flowers till first hard frost.

As much an I want to see them, I can wait☺️
