I gave that $50 to Reg James, who gave us an incredible discount to print our first 10 'I Supported Robinson's Before They Were Poppin'!' T-shirts. We sold those shirts door-to-door just to build our early momentum.Seeing that hustle, B.A. Amey stepped up right before we officially opened our doors with a foundational $5,000 investment to help fuel our launch. There have also been many more incredible people who have come alongside us throughout the years to support this dream. God is moving our family business faster than we ever could have imagined. 🍿🙏🏾🏢

Today, a wonderful couple drove all the way from Muskegon, Michigan into our Tanger Outlets, Grand Rapids location. They didn’t just come for a bag of popcorn or a 16-inch Monster Buddy Roll—they came to ask how they could buy a franchise and bring our brand to their hometown.

That marks our THIRD serious, unsolicited franchise inquiry in the last 60 days alone.

When we started this journey with a single $50 bill, a prayer, and a 423 credit score, nobody saw a multi-unit empire coming. Banks wouldn't talk to us, and investors didn't see the vision. But our community did. You stood in our lines, shared our posts, and lifted our family up.

We just closed out August by shattering our all-time monthly record, pulling in $22,437.45 through a single active counter.

• Our lifetime sales are at $981,943—putting us exactly $18,057 away from the historic $1,000,000 Milestone.

• This week, we pick up the keys to our second corporate storefront, moving straight into the premier flagship space formerly occupied by Garrett Popcorn inside Twelve Oaks Mall in Novi, Michigan!

We are absolutely planning on franchising in the future! Right now, our business remains strictly corporate-owned as our leadership team finalizes our automated systems, operation manuals, and regional territory mapping this fall. We refuse to rush the process because we protect the quality of our food and the integrity of our faith-driven culture above everything else.

Can I just take a second to be a proud dad? 😭🙌🏾❤️

This week, my Buddy started his very first days in junior high. We all know how brutal and full of peer pressure middle school can be. By day three, a young man in his class was struggling with personal hygiene, and other students started talking about him out loud and laughing.

My son could have joined the crowd. He could have stayed silent. Instead, he chose to lead.

He privately pulled a couple of the guys to the side and told them to cut it out. Then, he went straight to the young man privately, asked him if he needed some deodorant, and told him, “I will bring you some tomorrow.

”The next morning, he followed through and handed it to him.

As a father, my heart is completely full. Seeing my son stand up for someone’s dignity and handle a tough situation with so much maturity lets me know he is going to lead by God, not by other influences.

You can build businesses, open new stores, and chase dreams, but raising a young man with a protective heart and a backbone is the greatest accomplishment of my life.

Keep leading, son. Your dad has your back always! 👑💪🏾🔥

They said we couldn't get the funding, so we printed these shirts and hit the pavement. 8 years ago today, we were walking door-to-door across West Michigan with a dream and a $50 bill.
