Young Family Farm of West Michigan Welcome!

I couldn't be more proud of Kevin. He is the definition of what having a good work ethic looks like. And what a joy it is to have Judah working beside him...the fourth generation here! We are thankful to say 2026 planting is done! πŸŽ‰ -Erin

"8 month old ACD. We recently adopted him. He is doing wonderfully with training and catches on so quickly. But we can not get him to be ok with our cats. He is due for his next round of shots and isn’t neutered.
Located in Alto."

Someone I work with suggested that I do a time lapse video of a field. We had set up a game camera in the field in early spring and had it set to motion detection. Those images are in the early parts of the video, that is why you see some deer, tractors, loader, and a small child running by (we have feral children running around out here). Mid June I switched the camera over to time lapse so it took a picture at 9:00 am, 12:00 pm, 3:00 pm, 6:00 pm and finally 9:00 pm. Every second is about a day of time. I planted this field 5/14, and started harvest 10/25. I hope you enjoy.

We have wrapped up 2025 harvest today. We washed up the equipment and parked it for the winter. A big thanks to the Devries Brothers, Moline Mill , Nutrien, and all the others who helped get the crop in, and take it off the field. Now starts the planning for next year.
