I MADE A MISTAKE!

Please use the attached calendar for Saturday Sprouts. I accidentally put a project Thanksgiving weekend on the first schedule 🤦🏼‍♀️.
Registration for the first Project opens Saturday 5th.

Speaking of: the Friday after Hours calendar goes out Sunday along with the Grand Opening Invite. It's not too late to Join the Sass!

🌱 Saturday Sprouts is officially taking shape — and your feedback helped build it!

I asked parents what felt reasonable for a kids’ workshop, especially when you’re bringing more than one little gardener, and your answers helped me land on a setup I really like.

So here’s how Saturday Sprouts will work at Sassy Sprigs Garden Studio:

Projects will be $30 each.

💗 Bringing siblings? Each additional sibling project will be just $15, because we know little gardeners tend to travel in packs. 😂

And yes — each sibling gets their own complete project to make and take home!

🎟️ Saturday Sprouts will be ticketed. These aren’t walk-in crafts. When tickets become available, you’ll purchase your project in advance and choose either the 10–11 AM or 11 AM–12 PM session.

⏰ Most projects will take about 30–45 minutes to complete, depending on your child’s age and how many helping hands they want along the way. Your ticket reserves your spot during the full one-hour session, so there’s plenty of time to work without rushing.

🧤 Everything they need is included. We’ll have kid-sized aprons, gloves, gardening tools, and all the materials for that day’s project.

🌿 Saturday Sprouts is designed for ages 4+. A grown-up stays with their Sprout, and younger gardeners may need a helping hand along the way.

And now for the fun part...

One Saturday they might plant a Pollinator Pot full of flowers for visiting bees and butterflies. Another, they’ll build and decorate their own Winter Bird Café to hang outside and fill with seed.

Halloween gets its own fun, too. 👻🎃 We’ll have two Halloween-themed Saturdays, including a wonderfully weird Spooky Sprouts project and a Jack-o’-Lantern succulent mug just in time for Halloween.

They’ll create a Gratitude Garden filled with things they’re thankful for, tuck bulbs into their own Secret Spring Garden, and work with real evergreen branches to make a Little Sprig Swag for Christmas.

And right before Christmas, we’ll pull out the dried flowers for a botanical ornament bar where they’ll design two fillable ornaments — one to keep and one to give. 🌸🎄

No two Saturday Sprouts will be the same.

They’ll plant. Paint. Dig. Decorate. Build. Get dirty. Learn a few things without realizing they’re learning them. 😂 And leave carrying something they made themselves and are ridiculously proud of.

📅 Attached is the first Saturday Sprouts calendar, covering September through December!

One important thing to know: the calendar is a preview of what’s coming — it does not mean all of those workshops are open for registration at once.

🎟️ Each workshop will become available to book on the website two weeks before its scheduled date. Registration will stay open for one week, then close so I have time to source exactly what we need for the number of Sprouts coming.

💌 And if you’ve Joined the Sass, you won’t have to remember to check the website. Workshop invitations will land right in your inbox when it’s time to register.

So use the calendar to circle favorites, coordinate schedules and decide which projects your little gardener absolutely has to make.

Then watch your inbox — or the website — when their ticket window opens. 🌱💗

🌱 Parents, I need your opinion on this one.

One of the things coming to the Garden Studio is Saturday Sprouts — hands-on garden projects made especially for kids. 💗

And I'm not talking about a coloring sheet while Mom shops. 😂

Think planting a little pollinator garden, creating a Gratitude Garden, tucking bulbs into the soil to watch for months later, building a bird café, working with fresh Christmas greenery, filling ornaments with dried flowers...

Real projects with real plants, real tools and something pretty cool to take home when they're finished.

The Studio will provide everything they need—including kid-sized gardening tools, gloves and aprons—and I'll guide them through the project with your help.

And you get to leave the dirt on my floor instead of yours. 😂

But before I finalize the Saturday Sprouts calendar, I want to hear from the people who would actually be bringing the little gardeners.

For a 30–45 minute hands-on experience with all materials, tools and instruction included, what would feel like a reasonable to spend?

🌱 $25
🌸 $30
🌿 $35
🌼 $40
💗 $50 for a larger/more involved project

And I'm curious about this too:

Would you rather pay per child—or per project, so two siblings could work together on one if they wanted?

I'm trying to find that sweet spot where the projects are good enough that your kids are genuinely excited about what they made, without making a Saturday morning activity painful for families with more than one child, like me.

There WILL be plants at Sassy Sprigs Garden Studio. 🌱

But with 422 square feet to work with, they’re going to have to earn their rent.

I want the shelves to change with what’s actually worth growing right now in Middle Georgia.

One month that might mean herbs, pollinator plants and something perfect for your GreenStalk. Another might bring cool-season color, bulbs, veggie starts or a variety I grew myself and decided everybody else needs too. 🌸

And when the season changes? So will the shelves.

I’m being ridiculously picky about what makes it into the Studio because I don’t want you staring at rows and rows of plants wondering which one will actually work for you.

I want you to be able to grab something because you love it—and leave knowing where to plant it, how to grow it, and what to expect from it here.

Because we need to have a little talk about some of these plant tags anyway. 😂

“Full sun” does NOT always mean “put this poor thing in eight hours of Georgia August sun and wish it luck.”

And yes. I’m talking to myself too (sorry crispy plants).

Sassy Sprigs Garden Studio opens in September.

The shelves are small. The standards are not. 💗

So…what exactly IS a Garden Studio?

Fair question. I made it up 😂🌱

Sassy Sprigs Garden Studio brings flowers, gardening, growing and creating together in one space on Main Street.

You’ll find local grown flowers, seasonal plants and bulbs, GreenStalks, grow kits, amendments and garden finds chosen for what we’re actually growing here and now. The bloom bar will make an appearance when the flowers are flowing, and potting, custom growing and DIY flower options will give us a whole lot more we can do beyond what happens to be sitting on the shelves that day.

And right in the middle of all of it?

There’s going to be one BIG table. 😍

And THAT table is going to see some things. 😂

Buckets of flowers. Dirt everywhere. Porch pots. Bulbs. Pumpkins. Wreaths. Greenery. Moss. Plants. Probably glitter against my better judgment.

Friday nights will give the grown-ups a chance to grab a friend and make something gorgeous. Some of our bigger projects will take over a Saturday afternoon. And on Saturday mornings, the table becomes Saturday Sprouts, with affordable little garden and flower projects made especially for kids. 🌱

There are limited seats around that table, so workshops are going to stay small and actually hands-on—not 30 people watching me demonstrate something from across the room.

And because the Studio will change right along with the garden, so will what we do there.

September won't look like Christmas. Winter will bring completely different projects. And when flower season comes back around, we'll have a whole new reason to fill that table again.

The first workshop calendar is coming soon.

When it does, email subscribers will see it first—and with only a few seats available for each workshop, if there's one you love, I wouldn't leave that tab sitting open for three days while you “think about it.” 😂

That’s Sassy Sprigs Garden Studio.

A place to shop, grow, make something, learn something—and occasionally make a spectacular mess around a table with new friends. 💗

I cannot WAIT to see what we make in here. 💐

BYRON, WE’RE OPENING A GARDEN STUDIO. 😭🌱

This is what I’ve been waiting to tell you.

In September, Sassy Sprigs Garden Studio opens its doors on Main Street—and its about to become so much more than a stop for flowers.

Come in for fresh-cut flowers and leave with a bouquet you built yourself. Bring the kids on a Saturday morning to plant something they’ll spend the next three weeks checking every six minutes. 😂 Come make a porch pot, learn to arrange flowers, build a seasonal garden, or finally figure out what to put in all 36 pockets of that GreenStalk.

Bring me the planter you already own and we’ll give it a new season instead of sending you home with another pot. Tell me you want a fall vegetable garden but have absolutely no idea where to start, and we can build one for your space. Need flowers for prom, a party, a shower or a wedding? Pick your own from the bloom bar or order a bucket and make something completely your own.

And when you just want to shop, there will be plenty to discover there too—locally grown flowers, specialty plants and seasonal starts, garden and grow kits, GreenStalks, amendments, bulbs, seeds and useful things chosen specifically for Georgia growing.

Then the seasons get to change the Studio with us.

Fall gardens and porch pots give way to bulbs, Thanksgiving flowers, wreaths and garden gifts. Winter starts turning toward seed starting and early gardens. Then flower season returns with bloom bars, fresh-cut flowers, subscriptions, DIY buckets, and all the color we’ve been waiting for.

That’s Sassy Sprigs Garden Studio.

Part flower shop. Part garden shop. Part workshop space.

And we’re going to have WAY too much fun with this place😂💗

The little stand gave us a place to start.

Now we have room to grow.

I put my name on it. 😳

There’s something slightly terrifying about watching a big idea turn into a legally binding one. 😂

But here we are.

Signed. Official. No more hypotheticals.

Sassy Sprigs has an address. 💗

I’ve been dying to show you what’s behind all of this.

Tomorrow, I finally can!!!

Join the Sass to get the details first. It's much more reliable than hoping Facebook throws in your feed.💐

There’s a point in every big idea where it goes from:

“Wouldn’t it be cool if...”

to

“Oh. We might actually be doing this.” 😳

We’ve officially reached that point.

I’ve measured. Re-measured. Run the numbers. Changed the plan. Changed it back. Tried to talk myself out of it. Got excited again. Ran the numbers AGAIN. 😂

And after all of that, there’s really only one thing left to do.

Tomorrow is a pretty big day for Sassy Sprigs. 💗

As we work through what Sassy Sprigs will become, Y'all have been VERY clear 🤣

Mother's Day flowers nearly sold out.
Books & Blooms DID sell out.
You snapped up grow towers and veggie plants this spring.
DIY prom flowers were AMAZING to get into your hands.
Spring and Summer Sassy Packs have brightened your home for weeks.
And apparently you really, really like sending Back-to-School encouragement!

Meanwhile, random bouquets sitting around waiting for somebody to suddenly need flowers?
..not nearly as exciting.

And THAT changed the plan.

If Sassy Sprigs is going to grow, we're building around what you actually show up for.

The amount of texts, calls, and comments of support and well wishes received yesterday was bittersweet and so very appreciated 💗

The stand is gone.

Sassy Sprigs isn't.

But losing the stand did force us to answer a question we'd been able to put off for a while:

What does Sassy Sprigs look like when it isn't limited by a little roadside stand?

Turns out...very different.
