Mission complete! DIY rain barrel chicken water station. No more dragging the hose into the coop or carrying heavy coolers. We can fill from the outside or capture rain water. It’s chicken approved! 💦 🐓

There’s no egg shortage here! Our chickens are raised on pasture and enjoy roaming free to eat whatever they desire. And since chicken math is a real disease, there are 8 more in the brooder waiting to join the bigger flock. I think 32 is a good number. What do you think? ❤️🐓🥚

Replacement birds arrived today! In addition to the four I picked up locally, a total of 17 new birds. Chicken math is real!

Losing chickens to predators just stinks. We lost 2 in the past 2 weeks. The pasture they roam on is fenced all the way around but we can’t stop the aerial predators like hawks.
