Loving just sitting outside with everyone. Lily is such a good farm dog, we can't wait for K.J. to come home. We have a mixed variety of ducks the father has this stripe by his eye and if he has sons or grandsons they always have the stripe. So I believe we will have two make ducklings up for discussion. It looks like I have 3 kaki campell girls and one cayuga girl we will be keeping the girls. We just had 3 more chicks hatch they are under the white chicken with the feeder.
I'm going to have to concrete the wall with the fence to make the pond work. Aside from that they can eat at the walls and I will continue to build them with the clay dirt that is there. It's working pretty well.
Sir Gordon Cramsey and Fable are due to have a baby around February.

It seems as though our farm has decided it is spring and not fall! 8 chicks and 5 ducklings so far. Love is in the air.
P.s. No one told me how absolutely aggressive ducks can get when they hatch, it's good though they will be well protected!
Excuse the messy coop, if I disturb the coop at all while they are broody they bail. Cleaning next week is going to be a big job lol

I built a better goat playground today. The bridge was fun trying to figure out. I am sun burnt and worn out. I also made half shelters from the sun and rain for the chickens and ducks inside their runs. I feel extremely accomplished! It's a great feeling!

Ginger had her baby yesterday!! I said show me which one is yours and she walked over and did. He's a stout little bull calf.
