Seriously though — this is our kind of bragging.

Show us the tomatoes you’re drowning in. 🍅

The handful of beans.

The Cadillac Farmers Market is open TODAY from 9–1, and our local farmers and makers have been busy getting everything ready for you.

When you shop at a farmers market, your money stays right here in our community. You’re supporting the farmer who planted the seeds, the baker who got up early, and the maker sitting behind that table hoping somebody falls in love with what they created. ❤️

Okay, the Farm to Home basket landed on your porch… now what? 😂🥬

Here’s my farmer trick: don’t plan seven different fancy meals.

Use what you have and keep it simple.

🌽 Corn → grill it, boil it, or cut it off the cob and freeze it
🍅 Tomatoes → sandwiches, salads, salsa or sauce
🥒 Cucumbers → fresh with salt, quick pickles or cucumber salad
🥬 Greens → eggs, soups, stir-fries or freeze them for later
🌿 Herbs → hang them to dry, make pesto or freeze them in butter
🥕 Extra veggies → chop them up and toss them in the freezer before they become sad refrigerator vegetables 😂

One of the biggest goals of Farm to Home isn’t just getting locally grown food onto your porch.

It’s helping you actually USE it.

Then we get a message like this and suddenly all the planting, harvesting, washing, packing, baking and delivering feels extra worth it. ❤️

Farm to Home was never supposed to be just another way to buy groceries. We wanted opening your delivery to feel a little bit like getting a present every week. 😂🌽🍅🥒🌻

🌱 Farm to Home is heading to the classroom! Well… the Farmers Market version of a classroom. 😉

On September 9, we’ll be helping with TWO gardening classes at the Reed City Farmers Market — but first, we need you to help us decide what we should teach!

We have three choices:

🌻 Saving Seeds + Seed Swap
Learn how to save seeds from this year’s garden for next season, plus bring some along to swap with other local growers!

🌱 Winter Growing Indoors
Because Michigan winter doesn’t mean we have to stop growing food. We’ll talk about simple ways to keep growing indoors through the colder months.

🥕 Garden Planning + Seed Starting
Want a better garden next year? We’ll talk about planning ahead, choosing what to grow and getting those seeds started at the right time.

We can only pick TWO — so tell us which ones you want!

Classes will be pay what you can/by donation. If money is tight, come anyway. ❤️ We mean that. Learning how to grow food should be accessible to everyone.

If you’ve been wondering who’s behind all those beautiful flowers showing up in your Farm to Home delivery baskets this year… 🌻🌸💐

Meet Emily Miller!

This girl LOVES her flowers, and it shows. ❤️ She grows them, picks them, arranges them, and somehow turns a handful of blooms into something that makes you stop and smile.

And let me tell you… she’s got some serious bouquet skills. 😂💐

Flowers bring so much color and happiness to our farm, but Emily brings even more. The joy, friendship, hard work and laughter she brings around here is felt all year long.

So when you find a beautiful little bouquet tucked into your delivery, now you know whose hands helped make it happen. ❤️

🌽 COME HARVEST SOME CORN WITH US! 🌽

Out behind the greenhouse is one of our favorite crops of the year — sweet corn!

There’s just something about walking out to the field, picking dinner straight from the stalk, and knowing exactly where your food came from. And it looks like we’re going to have enough ready to tuck some fresh-picked corn into next week’s Farm to Home delivery baskets! 🙌🌽

This is what local food looks like. Grown right here. Picked by real people. Going straight into the hands of families in our community.

So whatever you’re doing today, find a little way to support your local farmers. Buy the corn. Visit the farm stand. Shop the farmers market. Order the basket. Even a like, share, or kind word helps keep small farms growing. ❤️
