Today we got the bulls and some of the steers out on grass in their Gallagher Eshephard training paddock. They’re learning how their new collars work for a better more effective grazing of the pasture. This should help improve the productivity and health of the pasture as well.

It’s amazing how much cows love to graze. Even with the 10 inches of snow we got, the cows are choosing to graze the millet through the snow rather than eat the hay we put out for them. Such cute snow snouts they have ❤️🐄

What a beautiful day it was today! Dakota spent the day getting another side of the fence built and putting up temporary fence so the cows could graze down some of the Japanese Millet we were unable to get to yet without the fence done.
