We had a couple of 2026 CHS graduates ask to take senior pictures at the farm and we just had to share some of them with you.

To be honest, this worries us.🥲

You may have heard of the American Christmas Tree Association. They promote artificial trees as the “smart choice,” and claim that 83% of families plan to display a fake tree. But let’s pause for a second… artificial trees aren’t even made here, and they don’t support American farms, families, wildlife habitats, or open land.

What we do is different.

We plant, we care for the land, and we grow something real. This year alone, we will plant another 400 trees. Not just for today, but for the families who will come here years from now to continue their traditions.

We’re working hard to sustain this land so it can remain a place where families gather, memories are made, and traditions grow for generations.

Choosing a real tree matters more than you might think.

And we’re so grateful you’re part of it. 🎄

Notice to all my beloved Christmas photographers and photographers I haven’t met yet. This is your notice that the entire weekend (Thursday-Sunday) November 12-15th, the tree farm will be unavailable for photos. I understand this is a premium weekend for you, but it’s unavoidable. So check your calendar now in order to reserve your dates.

Also, for those who are interested, I know a guy who would be willing to be your Santa (at the tree farm only) for your sessions. For obvious reasons, he’s FCFS. Photo in comments.

Proceeds from this fundraiser will go directly to support Grady County 4-H programs and activities.
