β¨ Daisy is looking for a BEST FRIEND and a forever home. She's the most playful Great Pyrenees mix. Yes, a mix, while mostly GP we think she's crossed with a golden or labrador retriever and doesn't have a mean bone in her body. This young girl was found chasing cars, no microchip and a likely dump job.
The ideal best friend could be single or married, with or without children but must be willing to play and sometimes Daisy gets a bit rough so tiny littles might not be best. The perfect best friend would already have another dog that Daisy can play with when she gets lonely. This best friend must be willing to let her come inside to nap on the kitchen floor but also outside on tons of adventures whether in farm life or the great beyond; playing with water from a hose is non-negotiable. Best friends must be willing to provide crate, chew bones and toys or Daisy can't promise to possibly chew on something else. Interestingly enough, Daisy does not like to get on any furniture, by her own choices.
Daisy is still a pup, guesstimated at only a year old but she is very smart and trainable. She'll stay smaller than most Great Pyrenees but still should mature as a large(ish) dog. She will leave our farm crate trained, house trained, spayed, rabies shot and training collar positive (which means a positive experience with a training collar).
In the short time we've had her Daisy has learned valuable commands such as sit, no and off. She has been working around other livestock guardian dogs, cats, chickens, horses and goats. Now, while I am not sure she'll ever be a full-time livestock guardian, she'll make you a fabulous farm dog.
This is a UNIQUE and rare situation that we have an LGD mix and it is more suited as a pet hybrid than a full time working dog.
So, for all of you that have reached out before looking to have a fluffy white dog, without a full farm or full time working requirement...Daisy is for you π
