📌 Job Opening: Secretary
Mountainland Apples, Inc. – Caldwell, Idaho
Mountainland Apples is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Secretary to join our team. This is a seasonal, full-time position for approximately 9 months out of the year, with the potential for part-time hours during the remaining 3-month off-season.
The ideal candidate is organized, a strong communicator, and ready to support administrative operations in a fast-paced agricultural environment.
📋 Job Responsibilities Include:
- Answering phones and greeting visitors
- Managing office schedules and internal communication
- Filing, organizing, and maintaining records
- Supporting managers and staff with clerical and operational tasks
- Learning and using our inventory software system to:
• Create shipping paperwork and Bills of Lading
• Monitor and control inventory levels
• Record and report daily production
- Assisting with invoicing, shipment tracking, and other administrative support
- Communicating clearly with staff, vendors, and customers
✅ Key Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Professionalism and confidentiality with sensitive information
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Willingness to learn new systems and procedures
- Ability to take initiative and solve small problems independently
📅 Schedule, Pay & Duration:
- Full-time (Monday–Friday) for approximately 9 months per year
- Potential part-time hours available during the 3-month off-season
- Competitive hourly wage based on experience
