Another hatch done!

This week we have available-

14- Straight run Black Copper Marans

These all hatch from our darkest layers and are from our darkest roosters. There is never a guarantee that they will lay dark eggs but when combining a good rooster with a good hen you get your best chance at it!

Here is reality and why I don’t pre-sell or take deposits on chicks. I have been using the Nurture Right 360’s for a couple of years now and have had bad luck hatching BCM’s. I have tried many different ways to hatch BCM’s in them and none work great.

I made the jump to a larger and higher quality incubator and had a pretty awesome hatch the first time 25/31 BCM’s hatched. I will be adding a couple more of the Brinseas to my lineup through the year.

These are all BCM’s except the 3 lighter ones.

Another successful hatch in the books. More silkies available and some Indio Gigante’s!

1- Stripper Silkie, straight run. Out of the same multicolor pen.

2- Indio Gigantes, Straight run. These get to be some of the largest chickens in the world. They were bred for their size. They are gentle giants. The roosters will be at or over 42” tall once matured and hens will be 35” tall or taller. They take about 2 years to fully mature.
