festival! Next Saturday, October 17th, 9:30-3:00 pm.

COLLECT EGGS off our mobile coops with a hay ride (ONE DOZEN EGGS is included with your pass), go through our large STRAW MAZE, get your FACE PAINTED, play in our famous or ‘infamous’ pea pit, plus visit the pig pasture and other animals, and take pictures. We will have the grill going with delicious options for lunch. Turkey season is here! We have harvested all batches but ONE. The final batch will be mostly larger birds and/or going to ground turkey. We definitely recommend ordering if you see a size you want NOW- especially XS, small, or medium. There is a very good chance those won’t be restocked. We have PLENTY OF LARGES- which is our most popular size!! Turkeys usually do sell out before Thanksgiving, so don’t hesitate to order. We will hold your bird in our designated ‘turkey’ freezer until November pick up times.

PLEASE NOTE: Turkeys are also available any day of the week at our Farm Store for a WALK-IN purchase (you would take the bird home with you at that time)

Teenager farm spam: seeing our farm through the lense of a flip phone 😂 while our kids are out working can be pretty funny. In their own words, they love to “clip” each other. They are basically looking for funny stuff, sometimes inappropriate stuff (we didn’t include any of those), stuff that catches someone off guard or not looking their best. Enjoy!

Since we don’t use antibiotics or conventional meds in our flocks, when we hear some sniffles or irregular breathing, this tincture we brew comes to the rescue for anything respiratory. We treated our turkey flock a few weeks back with this. It acts as a natural antibiotic. The garlic has to be put into the alcohol for at least 1 moon cycle… longer is better. Turkey sales open October 6th. Get ready!

Yesterday the canal system shut off. It’s about 7-10 days earlier than normal. Hank had to get his last swims and jumps in before the water is gone. His most favorite thing in the world is jumping in the canal for rocks. The reservoir systems across the state and into Oregon look depleted. We’d take a snowmageddon again this winter to get them filled, that’s for sure! 🙏❄️

It was pretty magical collecting eggs this past weekend under a full rainbow! If you’ve never tried mobile, pasture raised eggs, our recent testing at Center for Human Nutrition Studies on the Utah State University campus, should convince you .
