Swarm season is upon us!
With all these warm days, the trees and flowers are blooming a little early and that means the bees are buzzing around earlier than normal, too.

If you are in Noble County see a swarm of bees on your property, message us and we may be able to come and remove them for you.

Here’s a swarm I’ll never forget. These ladies thought this guys truck was the perfect resting place. I just happened to be in the right place at the right time and was able to help him out.

The 🍯 HONEY 🍯 shelf is stocked!

If you’ve talked to us lately, you know it’s been a rough year for honey production. I joked all summer that our bees were being freeloaders.
With the wet spring we had, there were a lot of days where the bees couldn’t fly, and when they stayed at home on rainy days, they ate up a lot of what they had collected early.

That being said, we did manage to get a very small amount of early summer honey as well as some fall goldenrod honey and the shelf is stocked for the first time in a long time.

We only have about 80 lbs so this won’t last long!
Get it while you can!

We did another tree cutout yesterday. This tree had fallen during a recent storm and the homeowner called us to relocate the bees. The pieces of comb in this tree were every bit of 2 feet long. So amazing!

Caught a little baby swarm yesterday thanks to our wonderful neighbors. They were a secondary swarm off of one of their hives.

We also added several honey supers onto our hives over the weekend. Hoping to do our first small honey harvest in about a week. Stay tuned!
