Hats off the to crew and advisors that put on the TJCA state show. It was a great time seeing our friends and customers!

Congratulations to Calvin Hayes Chapman and DCC/Royal B Foreign Love 2425 with her bull calf CHCC Preacher 0P3 on being named the Division 8 Champion female!

Fun facts about “Provo”. She was sold as lot 6 in our 2024 Fall sale as lot 6. She won her calf class at the National show in Fort Worth in 2025, she then reserved her division as a bred at Denver 2026, and winds up winning her division and raising a rockstar of a bull calf at the state show June 2026.

We pride ourselves in raising cattle that mature and get better with time. Provo and Calvin Hayes are a prime example of what we strive to do at Doonan Cattle Company and cannot be more proud of this kid and family!

Semen available at Bovine elite. $35/unit $0/signing through spring breeding season.

Sid found us in the most Godly and humble way. His semen is priced at a point that any program and any cow can comfortably afford to use him because we feel that strongly this bull will influence the breed and we wanted to give all breeders an opportunity to help us prove that!

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the retirement and passing of DCC Chics Aphrodite. I have searched for the words to describe Aphro and I simply cannot find them.

I tell everyone that her mother built everything for us, but Aphro was special in the fact that I think she was the one that allowed us to keep everything her mother built.

She was the first purebred I ever raised with no real clue of how special of a cow that she would be. She had a really rough start in life. She spent 26 days in the ICU unit in Elgin at Dr Gary Warners clinic. With some aggressive and progressive thinking Dr Kelly Warner saved her. She spent 45 days in the cooler at Travis and Glena Goodrum’s to get through the summer before we turned her out with prayers that she would just live much less produce. I cannot thank everyone enough for the love and support they showed during that time.

Fast forward she would be arguably the most progressive donor cow we have had access to. She was the mother of many greats such as Lazy H LG donor, Jayden Mata’s Rosie cow, joshua Jensens Wayze cow and multiple national division champion sons that are influencing cow herds across the country. There is Jack Daniels and Sid embryo calves that will be born this year out of her and we cannot be more excited for those! Her last flush was to Swep Sid 316 and she Froze 33 high grade embryos!

We were so blessed to have had a cow like Aphrodite and we are thankful for have the opportunity to have more calves coming and see how incredible the mating to Sid is!

Thank you for the ride big girl. I sure hope you are enjoying lush green fields with your momma and we are ready for a daughter to carry on your legacy here at DCC! ing th
