Dahlias, tulips, anemones, ranunculus, and poppies, all at the same time, thanks to a little help from my friends. 💐

May-cember is in full swing around here. IYKYK Flowering, Mom’s Day, sports and activities x2, and end-of-school activities have the calendar filled to the brim. After making a few special order arrangements today, I finally made some just for me. We’re having a family celebration tomorrow, and of course everything just feels a bit more special with fresh local flowers like these.

It's official - Mother's Day is less than 1 month away! (TBH, with the weather we've had the last couple of days, it's easy to understand.)

This year, Leona Rose Flowers is back with beautifully curated bouquets and arrangements, the perfect gift for the mom figure in your life! Peonies and fancy tulips will be the stars, along with lots of other fun little unique floral treats.

Preorders are up on www.leonaroseflowers.com with an option for a wrapped bouquet or an exquisite arrangement. Pick up will be available on either May 9th or 10th at the stand outside of Mocha Lisa.

Started some seeds today, the first I’ve sown this season. By the looks of it, it’s going to be a gorgeous summer!

Generally, I start in January, but well, it was a bit of a struggle. Anybody else kind of get that this time of year? Thankfully, a flower friend of mine stepped in to help me with that - I just cannot say enough about how the people in this community pick each other up. If you’re a flower friend, you get it. 💪🏻 Keep making the world a more beautiful place, one 🌼 at a time.

Join us for a beautiful morning in the greenhouse!

On Saturday, April 11th at 10:00am, I'm partnering up with Ericka from Pfeffer Farm & Gardens for a hands-on container gardening workshop.

You'll learn our simple design approach for creating lush, balanced container gardens - then you'll build your own to take home (once it's warm).

How does it work?
* bring your own CLEAN, empty container (or 2), or purchase one at the farm
* listen and learn while Ericka and I share our knowledge on all things container gardening, like soil health, design concepts, flower selection, and care tips
* peruse around the greenhouses to pick out your own custom blend of florals (we will even have some "recipes" available for you to follow)
* plant your selections into your container, then leave it at the greenhouse to grow and let us care for it until the weather warms up!

We'll have light refreshments to enjoy while you plant, create, and connect in this relaxed atmosphere.

~ $45 to reserve your spot
~ Plants purchased a la carte the day of the event
~ location 8322 Foley Road, Caledonia

Spots are limited to keep this experience intimate and hands-on.
