We got some woodchips from the company taking down the neighbors trees. Put them to good use!

🤪 My usual go to helper now works two jobs and is a freshman in college so Bob and kids are helping with set up and take down and I’ll do the bulk of the processing. I’m torn between only six birds yay it should go fairly quickly and what a lot of set up for only six birds 🤣 My Bresse hens are starting to lay so I’m hoping I can put in twenty eggs to hatch by November so I can have more ready to go by March or so. Also excited to use the new scalder for the first time. I’m hoping it speeds things up significantly.
