Take Root is starting in TWO WEEKS!

Take Root is a farm business accelerator, where new and beginning farmers can come and learn how to run the business side of a farm. We will hear from real successful farmers and other business professionals, build a farm business plan, explore enterprises and enterprise budgets, and so much more!

This class is completely virtual, 8 weeks long, and meets on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, from 6-8pm CT.

Explore Grazy Acres, a small family farm located in Harvard, IL and learn from farmers Donna and Peter about how they manage their herd of fully grass-fed and finished Belted Galloways in rotationally grazing 60 acres of pasture and hayground, and a flock of Freedom Rangers in mobile chicken tractors.

Their goal is to provide high quality meat directly marketed through on-farm sales, through farmers markets, and bulk cuts (whole, halves, and quarters), while positively influencing the natural biology of the soil.

Grazy Acres field day is September 18th, from 4-6pm

We are launching a NEW Equipment Share Program here at Farmers Rising!!

We understand that farm equipment is expensive, and sometimes out of reach for small farmers. That's why we have launched our Equipment Share Program! Farmers rising now has a large variety of equipment that farmers can rent to get their projects done.
From bobcats, to honey harvesting equipment, we've got it all!
