What a year it has been.
We have sold our farm and bought a new home for Lavender Life and Xander Community. God has clearly shown us this one. It’s three times the space we have now, on rolling hills that have only ever been farmed. Never developed. Never paved. Just worked, season after season, by the people who came before us.
Building begins shortly.
We are staying close. It sits near Ada and Lowell and still twenty minutes from downtown Grand Rapids. If you have driven out to see us before, you will not have far to go.
We are not going to tell you everything today. There is a great deal we hope to do with this land, and we would rather show you than promise you.
What we will say is this. The thing we have missed most is you. Talking to you. Handing you something across a counter. Giving a hug to somebody who needed one, and celebrating the people on the front lines of caring for kids who have nobody.
That is what the room is for.
