🤤Beef Stew & Dumplings.. It was the best one I have made so far! The dumplings were like little balls of clouds ☁️
Dumplings recipe was:
12oz S.R flour, 6oz Butter
Pinch of salt and pepper lightly breadcrumb the mixture mix with water after try not to play with it too much should feel light!
Stew Recipe: stewing beef
Tin of ox tail soup Tin of tomato soup Worcester sauce 2 x oxo salt and pepper onion carrots and swede parsnips Add water to cover and just leave it all day ... Heaven xx

It's official! Our ranch is under contract and they will keep our last 4 alpacas and the 2 LGDs! We couldn't be happier. Blessings on Blessings! Our God is an awesome God!

Learning what "bittersweet" means. Bought our 1st alpaca in 2007 and the years since then have been the best ever! Raising alpacas is one big learning curve. We would never choose to stop this life but our physical and medicals issues have made that choice for us. We are very pleased with what we have accomplished but it's time to move closer to doctors and hospitals. We also need to find a lower altitude for John's lung issues. We are down to 4 boys remaining to be sold/rehomed. The ranch will be listed on the market very soon and then we will start the search for a new place to relocate to, as we visit family and friends in other states.

Check out the 4 boys on our website. We are ready to consider any offers. We will also be selling farm and ranch equipment. Let us know if there is anything you are looking for.
Also, let us know if you'd like to stay in touch with us when we are no longer in the alpaca business. We will create a new group or a blog to share our upcoming adventures!

Crazy weather!!! Had planned another work day tomorrow (Sunday). Yesterday we thought we should cancel due to flash flood warnings and heavy rain expected. Now the forecast has changed again!!! So we leave it up to you. If you're free and it's not raining, come on over. We will find plenty to do. And thanks again to all who've been helping us get ready to sell the ranch. We hate to go but it's time!
