Hip # 75 HOLY HOPPER "Moe". 2013 APHA Sorrel Gelding.
Moe is a 16 h.h. 2D/3D Barrel & All-around Horse that should have the speed to be a 1D Horse. Absolutely solid & sound in all ways. Super gentle, friendly and patient. Been used in all ways on the ranch and on the trail. Moe is super honest. Good in a group or by himself. Great around Kids! “100% Husband Proof!” As even-tempered as any horse on the ranch. Easy to shoe, bathe & groom. Great inside and alongside the trailer. No bad habits.

We were campaigning him in the Novice and Open Horse Classes in the Mile High Barrel Assn & the NBHA before the COVID Pandemic. But he was also clocking solid Open 2D / 3D times. We chose not to compete during that time due to the hassles and he basically sat in the pen getting fat. Meanwhile, we had younger horses that were coming on that needed to get trained, so he took a back seat. He has had some roping training, and our son used him a couple times as a Pick-Up Horse in a couple CPRA Rodeos. He is an excellent trail horse, handling all kinds of bad terrain & timber. Used to gather cows and he is the horse that we use for less experienced riders. He is the horse our Barrel Students (Adults & Youth) use during lessons. We have taken him back to the arena to make some Barrel Runs, and it’s like he’s never had a day off. He still runs honest and doesn’t get hot. He has a lot of runs left in him!
His Pedigree is a "Who's Who" of the running horse world. On his Registration Papers alone, there are only a couple of horses that haven’t won any money on the track. On the Top Side, his Sire, Holy Tara, has LTE of $46,193. His Grand Sire, Holy Bull, was ranked #64 on the Blood-Horse magazine's list of the Top 100 U.S. racehorses of the 20th Century and was inducted into the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame in 2001 with LTE $2,481,760. And his Great Grand Sires on the top, Great Above-LTE $331,377 & Black Tie Affair-LTE $3,370,694. On the Dam’s side of his extended pedigree, he goes back to all the greats. Hempen, Alydar, Rocket Wrangler, Go Man Go, and Easy Jet (Twice).
Don’t miss out on the chance to own this great gelding.
