The serama babies are growing! Love seeing them feather out. These are not all from my birds. Got some new blood added to my flock. Also have some in the incubator from another breeder. Excited to see some new colors soon. Stay tuned.

If you would have told me 5 years ago that I would own chickens and someday breed them I would have probably laughed, but not doubted you as I love ALL animals, but chickens were never really on my radar.
Fast forward to 2022 my son was in 8th grade and they hatched some in science class and I signed a waiver that he could bring 1 home. That’s where it all started and then chicken math happened, then the dream of a rainbow egg carton come about, then I found seramas.

I will never forget replaying that YouTube video of a serama rooster crowing and my heart just melted. It was the cutest thing I’d ever heard and I had to have some. (Now it’s annoying 😆)

2024 I received my shipment of serama birds.
2025 I incubated some of my serama eggs and only had a handful to hatch and I kept those to expand my flock. (If you don’t know seramas do not breed true to color) so you never know what you’re going to get which makes it dangerous and fun haha
2026 - I incubated 3 different times and had a total of 58 chicks.
I only kept 6 out of 58 and only have a handful of Roos left. I would say that is pretty successful. I also become NPIP certified in June!

Thank you all who have purchased seramas from me. I’m still fairly new, but I’m learning more everyday. Next spring I should have plenty serama silkies and serama frizzles. I’ve been debating on filling the incubator up just 1 more time 🥴🤪😆
