2 day old calf in someone else’s pasture was abandoned by his mom. We moved him to the farm about 3pm and he was in really bad shape. Katie has been working on him ever since. As we walked back from the barn a little after midnight Katie said, “I guess we did good. He made it another day. I’ll get up early in the morning.” #farmkids #FarmCredit

Hero Cuts has been working diligently for the past few weeks in preparation for Vetlanta’s visit in the morning. We’re super excited to be taking them around to visit all the animals.

We’re growing at Hero Cuts. 03:30 wake up for a trip outside of Ft. Benning to pick up honey bees before they woke up. Then the 200 miles home was interesting. Note: Take the truck instead of the Corolla next time. Back seats DO NOT seal off trunk from passenger compartment. We currently have honey for sale and hope to double last years production this year.

Day 1

Alpaca Spit! It has an amazing eucalyptus spearmint scent with the addition of the super power of spirulina powder, and the undeniable resemblance to alpaca spit.

Back center = calendula flower, tumeric, orange cream
Left middle = pumpkin spice latte
Right middle = hazelnut mocha espresso
Center middle = rosemary mint
Left front = charcoal mint
Right front = oatmeal, honey, almond, vanilla

If you live in GA your Honeybees will bee avaliable for pick up on May 12th location to TBD. If you live in FL, NC or MS your Honeybees will be avaliable @ 2000 on Apr 14th or 0730 Apr 15th at Doc's apiary in Dunwoody. We willl work with our AL veterans individually to ensure we comply with AL state regulations related to Honeybees.

Please bring your hood and veil if you have it. Release forms will bee at the course.

We are proud to salute our veterans and support Homegrown by Heroes and local veteran, farmer Mike Reynolds by serving local beef this weekend at The FEED co. Table & Tavern, Tremont Tavern and 1885 Grill.

After sustaining a traumatic brain injury as a flight paramedic, Master Sargent Mike Reynolds went from protecting the nation to feeding it. With the help of local beef producer, Eddie Brannon, the wounded combat veteran found a new passion and purpose in farming. Joining with the National Farmer Veteran Coalition, Mike made industry connections and learned to farm.

Now on his 82- acre North Georgia farm, Mike is proudly suppyling the area with freezer beef through the Home Grown by Heroes label, which differentiates farmer-veteran products.
